String Manipulation Functions

bcopy

Syntax

#include <ultra64.h>        /* os.h */
void bcopy(const void *src,void *dst,int length);

Arguments

  • src is the source byte string to copy
  • dst is the adddress of target buffer to copy to
  • length is the data length

Explanation
Copies the specified byte string. It is assumed that at least length bytes are secured for both the copy-target buffer and the source byte string.

Return Value
None

Comments
This function is designed for optimization at the assembler level, so the process can execute quickly.
