log
logf
Syntax
#include <math.h>
double log(double x);
float logf(float x);
Arguments
Return Value
The natural logarithm of x
Explanation
It calculates the natural logarithm of x by using this formula:
log(x) = 2* ((x-1)/(x+1) +2/3* ((X-1)/(X+1))^3
+ (2/(2k+1) (x-1)/(x+1)^(2k+1) (k=0,1,2....)
log(2^k *x) = k * log(2) + log(x)
Note This standard function comes with NuSystem.
