Arguments
  • x is the original numeric value
  • epptr is the pointer to the n value of the formula x=m*(2^n)
Return Value
The m value of the formula x=m*(2^n)

What This Function Does
It Finds m and n to fill the formula x=m*(2^n) where the absolute value of m is less than 1.0 and greater than 0.5.
