nuAuSndPlayerGetState

Format
s32 nuAuSndPlayerGetState(void)

Returned Value
The playback state (AL_PLAYING, AL_STOPPING, AL_STOPPED)

What This Macro Does
It gets the current playback state of a sound. The sound in question is set by a call from the nuAuSndPlayerSetSound function. If no call is made by nuAuSndPlayerSetSound, then it returns the playback state of the preceding sound that was begun by the nuAuSndPlay function. There are three states:

  • AL_PLAYING means the sound is being played
  • AL_STOPPING means the sound is at the release stage
  • AL_STOPPED means the sound is not playing
