When following this or the other more in depth VMware tutorial there is a problem that occurs on computers using AMD processors when attempting to install Windows 98. The only fix as of writing this reply is to make sure you are using version 12 of VMware player or earlier. Version 14(current stable version) does not function properly. I have verified the problem and solution myself so hopefully it helps someone else out as well. Cheers
I’d also greatly appreciate a finished tutorial! I love your website and I can’t wait to learn more!
It’s definitely on my list of things to do, hopefully I’ll get to it soon.
Definitely! Although small, all of us N64-heads would love it!
Hi, I love your site! Would you mind finishing this tutorial? Or point me to a working example for a N64 Dev environment on a virtual machine? Thanks so much for your hard work!
I will try to finish up the tutorial soon. I’m busy working on a new site layout.
