alCSPGetChlVol

Format
#include <libaudio.h>
u8 alCSPGetChlVol(ALCSPlayer *seqp, u8 chan);

Arguments
  • seqp is the pointer to the compressed MIDI sequence player
  • chan is the target (0 based) MIDI channel
What This Function Does
It returns the volume for the given MIDI channel at the end of the last call to alAudioFrame. A value of 127 is full volume, and 0 is off. Because messages generated by the alCSPSetChlVol function are not processed until the next call to alAudioFrame, a call to alCSPSetChlVol followed by a call to alCSPGetChlVol within the same frame will not reflect the new value.

Note
In addition to channel volume, the sequence player maintains an overall sequence volume that can be accessed and set by using the alCSPGetVol and alCSPSetVol functions.
